Putin orders govt to work out deals of Russian Railways, coal cos
MOSCOW, Aug 16 (PRIME) -- President Vladimir Putin has ordered the government to work out possibilities of Russian Railways signing agreements with coal companies regarding the amount of railway transportation of coal, the government said in a statement on Monday.
The agreements should be signed for the term of no less than three years, and the government is to report on the order before December 31.
Putin also ordered the government to take measures and speed up the expansion of cargo transportation capacities of the railroad infrastructure of the Baikal–Amur Mainline (BAM) and the Trans-Siberian Railway (Transsib). Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin is to report on that before November 1.
